 Weddings have fascinated me since I was a child. Every opportunity to attend a wedding was cherished and still is today. After I moved to Atlanta in 1986, I accepted a full time position with a major financial organization and during my tenure, won numerous awards for superior customer service. I found myself taking every opportunity to plan corporate parties, non-profit events and even a couple of friends' weddings!
With eleven years experience in finance, business management and complete dedication to client care, I resigned from my full time financial position and without much hesitation, founded StoryBook Wedding Consulting. Months of research ensued...from profiling vendors to joining the most recognized and internationally known organization for wedding professionals...The Association of Bridal Consultants. The ABC requires ongoing education and holds their members to the highest level of moral standards and a strict code of ethics which are incorporated into my business philosophy. A few months later, I successfully completed their professional development program and earned the title of "Professional Bridal Consultant".
My dream had finally become a reality!!!
Not many people can say that they truly LOVE what they do for a living. I consider myself very lucky to be one who can! I appreciate every opportunity a bride gives me to help her create what she's imagined. My ambition is to provide my people skills, personal care, organizational skills and attention to detail to make your wedding less stressful and more importantly, FUN! My passion is designing weddings with style...your very own "storybook wedding"!
